The collection of ancient African tribal art is a long family history, dating back four generations. Our grandfather inherited the collection of a German missionary named Helmut. The passion for collecting continued with our uncle Kokou who criss-crossed the countries of West and Central Africa during his trades. We took over the business about twenty years ago.
Offering objects from the collection to foreign collectors began after a visit to the United States. We have provided private collections, universities that study African ethnography and dealers of “primitive art” (let’s recognize that this name is not rewarding for the reality of this art).
We then began to offer our rare pieces to enthusiasts around the world. We offer parts on online sales sites (eBay, Amazon, Aliababa…)

We want to tell the story of Africa from tribal art. We work in different countries with museums, antique dealers and universities to carry out research on ethnic groups, religious communities and the age-old practices preserved there.
